Isn't it funny how your view totally changes when you change the direction of your focus? That's been the consensus since I started on the this trek with the My Sisters garden. I've been going in new directions and I'm learning about so many things and places that I never even realized are right under my nose. Take for example: http://www.legacyscapes.com/ I just watched the video on how this company is getting ready to move this tree. it's so interesting, I had no idea that it was that much work to move one of those precious living beauties. I know companies move trees, and I know landscape companies are always working on these particular things, but I never really thought about what goes into the movement of a tree that size.
Where I came from they had redwood trees the size of a house, so you wouldn't consider moving one of those, needless to say, you'd have the"Save the Redwood League" hot on your trail.......anyway, there's so much to learn and it's so close! Very exciting!
