Meet My Sisters Garden of the Treasure Coast( Farmgirls at Heart)!

Monica Huber:

I grew up on my sisters farm on the Applegate in Southern Oregon. I love to make things and I'm always creating Something!

I'm married and have one lovely daughter. I moved to Florida in the summer of 2004. It was a difficult transition for me in the midst of the hurricanes and my house not completed and ready to move in. I picked up an issue of maryjanesfarm magazine, read it cover to cover and realized I am a farmgirl at Heart!

Ana Knapp:

Owner of the Spice & Tea Exchange of Stuart, "I have been wanting to own my own Business forever!"

With my store, I feel I have the ability to provide quality products and more importantly, treat people as well as they deserve.

Ana was born in Havana, Cuba

Ana made our first meeting an event to remember, she served delicious coffee, and tea from the shop, with flavored sugar crystals.....yummm! Thank you Ana for a day to remember!

Diane:

the earth holds me back finally from sailing around the world for ten years. A flight attendant for 25 years for Air Canada, I covered air, sea, and land. having a good background in Horitculture, I am happy to provide food to the community.

I currently run a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program at the farm and found it enlightening to educated the children about where food comes from.

I am French speaking from Montreal, Canada and moved to Florida 30 years ago. Always holding on to my roots and loving food!

I have a 40 acre farm: Kai Kai Farms 10 miles west of Hwy.95 -Five acres in crops and expanding slowly. Growing organically is a big challenge but worth it!

Debora Fiske:

Was born in NY and lived on a farm before moving to Ohio. I have many great memories of making mud pies with my sister Linda. "Grandpa had no idea why the chickens weren't laying eggs", We would use the eggs in our mud pies. I moved to Florida in "89" and opened a business. Now I have three!
I have 4 grandchildren, 2 children, son Jerod & daughter Lisa. I'm really excited about our health business.
I love crafts & making things. I like to paint, scrapbook, woodworking, sewing, jewelry, etc.

Bianca:

proud mom of a 14 year old boy, Patrick and a 21 month old little girl, Bella.

My goal is to work doing something that I love, and to make sure that my children are happy, healthy and loved.

Ali Carey:

loves to meet new people, enjoys photography, fulfilling a lifelong dream of having an organic garden, loves to travel, enjoys entertaining, studies Metaphysics, loves to read non-fiction, likes to cook-bake new recipes and the old ones, attempts to write!

Ali grew up near New York City, I am a "City girl" but the country always seems to call out to my heart! Ali is a single mom-raised a daughter & son and now a grand-mere to a little boy" King David "

Lily Young:

Even though I'm a "Beach Girl" I always wanted to be a farm girl. I love to do a few things " by hand", like simple jewelry items, and scrapbooking. I'm married and have two adorable girls. I'm finally going to be a grandma and it's going to be a girl! I'm more of an office person but right now I'm an independent rep for a natural health business.
