Love the outdoor classroom.....look at that citrus tree next to the screen....it's loaded with fruit! Philipa loves purple.........it looks great on her also!

Everyone is so engrossed in the lesson..... Terri certainly knows how to bring the lesson to life.......with her enthusiasm and love for what she does.......

Look at the colors in Terri's clothing...they are the same colors she showed us with the teal flower pot and red folage....with a burst of yellow....

Terri preparing the outdoor classroom....

What a beautiful Day! Yes, a little on the warm side, but who noticed, we were all so engrossed in listening to Terri Pinder explain the color wheel in relationship to the colors we bring in to the garden! So interesting! We had our outdoor classroom next to the big beautiful citrus tree looking out over the pond full of Tiliapia or was there really an Aligator in there???
We each came home with a Caladium plant to put in the ground on Tuesday, on the Equinox sometime between noon and 1pm. We're planting it on the north side of the house and checking it again in the Spring after it's been in darkness and comes to light. Oh, I really should be looking at my notes because I really don't do it any justice. Terri has such a vast description of words and enthusiasm when she speaks about her plants that makes it all so interesting! I was listening to her today and thinking where was she when I was in Science? I would've loved her and the subject so much more! Terri's also so giving, she offered up a bird feeder and jug of bird seed for the person who's name was pulled from the flower pot...She allowed those that remembered their birdhouses a second entry into the drawing.....Can you believe I forgot mine after all that??? Oh, my goodness, that's what rushing out of the house will do for you! Ali was the blessed recepient of the new bird feeder and bird seed! Couldn't have been given to a more deserving person! Today was truly a delight and it was nice to see everyone, even for a short while! It was also encouraging to see the interest in growing our own gardens...I think we have some real gardeners coming to fruition! Thank you Terri for a wonderful Morning in the Garden! Keep watching for the photos to be posted! I'm so proud of all of you for keeping up the challenge and bringing your birdhouse!
